About this role

The Critical Facilities Technician at Aligned Data Centers is responsible for hands‑on analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 24x7 data center operations, including installation, repair, and upkeep of mechanical and electrical systems. The role works under the Facility Manager to ensure reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire safety, building management, and other critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical equipment
Monitor and operate HVAC, plumbing, and generator systems
Execute work orders and document tasks in the maintenance management system
Respond to emergency situations and ensure safety compliance
Coordinate with contractors and oversee third‑party work
