About this role

The Critical Operations Technician I role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT equipment within QTS data centers to support a 24/7/365 critical operations environment. Candidates will perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance while ensuring proper building systems operation and responding to facility emergencies. This position requires on-site presence to manage complex infrastructure tasks alongside customer support duties.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and IT equipment
Install and repair building infrastructure and customer hardware systems
Monitor facility operations and adjust equipment for optimal performance
Process work orders for critical site infrastructure maintenance
Respond to building emergencies and customer facility requests
