Performs computed tomography (CT) scans to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients and ensuring adherence to imaging protocols and radiation safety standards. Interacts with patients to explain procedures, obtain histories, and provide comfort while operating and maintaining CT equipment. Reviews and post-processes images and documents results for radiologist interpretation.
