The role involves operating CT equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images, selecting appropriate patient positioning and radiation protection techniques, and preparing patients by explaining procedures and obtaining necessary consent. The technologist works closely with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate documentation and following aseptic and sterile techniques when appropriate.
