About this role

The CT Technologist prepares patients and performs routine computerized tomography (CT) scan procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. This role produces high-quality images and presents them to the Radiologist for timely interpretation while ensuring patient safety and quality service. The position supports the healthcare mission by maintaining clinical competency and adhering to radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform routine computerized tomography scan procedures and produce high quality images
Prepare patients for CT examinations by verifying identities and obtaining medical histories
Administer contrast agents and maintain radiation safety practices for patients and personnel

Qualifications

ARRT registered in Radiologic TechnologyNMTCB (CNMT) registeredAdvanced level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomographyAmerican Heart Association CPR
