Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for students to learn and play at Pleasant Acres Elementary. This part-time role involves keeping the building and premises neat, regulating HVAC systems for energy efficiency, and ensuring the safety of exit doors and panic bars during school hours. The position requires daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping classrooms and dusting furniture, along with seasonal maintenance duties like shoveling and plowing walkways.
