This part-time, hourly position is responsible for the continuous cleaning and maintenance of the library's public and office environments. The role utilizes a patrol-based custodial model to maintain building cleanliness and ensure custodial supplies are stocked. The position requires maintaining a safe and clean environment by addressing spills, hazards, and high-touch surfaces throughout the day.
Welcome to the new kpl.gov, our patron-focused website. Over the past year, we have been working hard behind the scenes to improve the online experience for patrons of the Kalamazoo Public Library. During this time, we have completely rebuilt our website, events calendar, and catalog. The new site was redesigned from the ground up to encourage patrons to easily explore and discover new titles and events. Special attention was given to make the new site easier for people using assistive technologies and devices. You will also no longer need a separate app for your smartphone or tablet as the new site is completely mobile friendly. You can even use your phone as your library card. We hope you enjoy your new kpl.gov experience!
