About this role

The Oracle Database Administrator supports production and non-production databases in a banking environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity. Responsibilities include daily DBA operations, monitoring, incident resolution, backup and recovery management, and coordinating with application and infrastructure teams. The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, RMAN, SQL, and performance tuning within ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

Perform Oracle database administration across Dev, Test, and Production environments
Monitor database health, capacity, and performance through regular health checks
Manage backup and recovery operations using RMAN and support restore activities
Handle user management, roles, privileges, and database security configurations
