About this role

Applied Materials is seeking a technical professional to spearhead the introduction of next-generation products into their Etch organization within a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment. This role acts as a critical bridge between design and production, focusing on defining processes, troubleshooting complex system-level issues, and refining new product architectures to ensure seamless scaling from concept to volume manufacturing. The position requires strong collaboration with Engineering Program Owners and the ability to influence design-for-manufacturability while driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Define processes and workflows for transitioning new technologies to volume manufacturing
Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues within the NPI phase
Collaborate with Engineering Program Owners to influence design-for-manufacturability
Introduce and refine new product architectures within the Etch organization
Provide technical input to management to correct system-level and manufacturing process problems
