About this role

This part-time internship supports the Cyber Mission Readiness Directorate within CERT by developing hands-on cybersecurity training, exercises, and assessments. The role involves building virtual lab environments, automating virtual machine configurations, and collaborating with subject matter experts to create and test realistic exercise scenarios. The position begins in Fall 2026 with the option to continue through Spring 2027.

Build and maintain virtual machine templates and lab topologies
Migrate and validate existing lab content on new virtualization infrastructure
