About this role

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support the C5ISR Defensive Cyber Solutions Branch in protecting critical Department of War networks from sophisticated cyber threats. The role involves 24x7x365 defensive cyber operations within a Security Operations Center, including continuous monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. This position requires investigating complex threats and analyzing network activity across diverse on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate investigations throughout the Incident Response lifecycle
Correlate and analyze security events, alerts, logs, and network data
Tune and maintain SIEM and IDS technologies to reduce false positives
