About this role

The AI Cybersecurity Engineer will support technical security engineering for Wintrust's Responsible Artificial Intelligence Alliance (RAIA). The role focuses on building robust defense-in-depth for AI systems, specializing in the secure integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and mitigating adversarial machine learning risks. You will collaborate across teams to engineer automated security controls, perform red teaming on model deployments, and ensure AI innovations remain resilient against evolving threat vectors.

Responsibilities

Lead security assessments for Large Language Models and other AI projects
Review AI architectural designs for compliance with security frameworks
Build and maintain standards for AI use case reviews
Analyze AI-specific security risks including bias and data leakage
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on automated security controls

Qualifications
