About this role

LMI is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support USSOCOM mission partners by designing and implementing security controls across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. The role involves leading vulnerability management, conducting security architecture reviews, and maintaining Authorization to Operate artifacts under the DoD Risk Management Framework. You will translate NIST and DISA guidelines into practical engineering decisions while partnering with operations teams to bake security into the development process.

Responsibilities

Design and harden security controls across cloud and hybrid environments
Lead vulnerability management and configure security tooling like SIEM and EDR
Produce and maintain artifacts required for Authorization to Operate
Translate NIST and DISA guidelines into practical engineering decisions
Respond to security incidents end-to-end in a fast-paced technical environment

Qualifications

BS in Cybersecurity or Computer ScienceActive Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top-SecretDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certificationExperience with NIST Risk Management FrameworkProficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCC High)
