Cybersecurity Engineer II

The Cybersecurity Engineer II performs cybersecurity engineering, integration, deployment, testing, configuration, and sustainment activities supporting customer SOC technologies. The position supports the engineering and deployment of SOC tools, sensors, platforms, enclaves, and supporting capabilities, including technology research, evaluation, prototyping, integration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Engineer II supports interoperability between data sources, cybersecurity tools, applications, workflows, sensors, and supporting infrastructure. The Engineer II also supports detection engineering and custom SOC capability development, including development, testing, tuning, maintenance, and documentation of analytics, detections, dashboards, scripts, interfaces, automation playbooks, and related capabilities. The position validates developed capabilities prior to operational use and documents configurations, dependencies, limitations, and sustainment considerations.
