About this role

As a senior cybersecurity engineer supporting the Joint Interagency Task Force 401, this role strengthens the Department of Defense’s counter-unmanned aircraft systems enterprise by integrating threat intelligence, emerging technologies, and testing to defend against small UAS threats. The position serves as a trusted technical advisor for complex cybersecurity and IT matters across mission, enterprise, cloud, and vendor-provided environments. The selected candidate will lead high-level architecture discussions, advise government and military leaders, and drive cybersecurity decisions across systems requiring Authorities to Operate.

Responsibilities

Lead cybersecurity architecture and system design for enterprise and cloud environments
Drive system authorization and risk management activities across government and vendor systems
Advise senior leaders on cybersecurity risks and secure system implementation strategies
