Performs cytological screening and microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens, providing accurate diagnostic information and entering results for reporting. Ensures compliance with regulatory, certification, and accrediting requirements while serving as a resource to physicians and hospital staff. Participates in continuing education and teaches or orients new personnel.
