About this role

This role involves building and evolving a next-generation Transportation & Logistics data platform on Google Cloud Platform, combining cloud engineering, data pipelines, and software engineering with a focus on automation and governance. The Data Platform Engineer will operate as an AI-augmented builder, designing and shipping end-to-end platform outcomes while supporting a multi-cloud migration from AWS and Azure to GCP. The position requires strong core capabilities and the ability to collaborate closely with lead data engineers within a lean Platform Engineering pod.

Responsibilities

Design and provision cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code and automated CI/CD pipelines
Migrate legacy workloads and data pipelines from AWS and Azure to Google Cloud Platform
Build and optimize data platform capabilities including analytics platforms and pipeline orchestration
