About this role

As a Data Platform Engineer, Infrastructure, you will build and operate the cloud foundation supporting Field AI's globally deployed robotic fleet. This role involves designing compute, storage, and networking systems while managing infrastructure as code, security, and cost efficiency for heavy data workloads. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure platform reliability and create internal tooling to streamline data pipeline operations.

Responsibilities

Design and operate cloud infrastructure for data platform compute and storage
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps workflows
Provision and tune systems for large-scale sensor data processing
Implement security controls including IAM and secrets management
Build observability stacks and internal tooling for engineering teams
