About this role

This role leads the end-to-end architecture of a Target State Open Data Platform and Strategic Agentic AI solution, ensuring scalable and secure data capabilities across ingestion, storage, and consumption layers. The architect will define standards for open Lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg, Databricks, and Snowflake while building AI solutions to automate investment performance and research operations. The position involves guiding multiple engineering teams, establishing governance frameworks, and aligning infrastructure with enterprise security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Define and own end-to-end reference architecture for the Open Data Platform
Establish architectural standards for Iceberg-based Lakehouse design and governance
Drive multi-engine interoperability across Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake
Build agentic AI solutions to automate data operations and investment research
Partner with engineering teams to align infrastructure and security capabilities
