The Data Protection Manager provides independent oversight and challenge of Data Protection risks within the Risk & Compliance department, ensuring Nationwide manages personal data lawfully and transparently. This specialist role involves assessing complex processing activities, reviewing high-risk impact assessments, and forming evidence-based opinions to support effective risk management and regulatory compliance. The position requires current expertise in UK Data Protection law and the ability to engage constructively with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
