About this role

Ancestry is seeking a Data Science Co-Op to join the Content AI team, where you will develop innovative AI models to extract and organize information from historical and genealogical records. This role involves building, training, and fine-tuning models to detect personalized insights within documents, supporting product development and customer success. You will collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Implement and experiment with cutting-edge transformer and generative AI solutions for Document Understanding tasks
Evaluate the performance of multi-modal models in zero-shot and few-shot learning scenarios
Partner with ML Ops and Data Science Engineers to deploy datasets, models, and pipelines in cloud environments
