Data Science Intern

The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor is seeking a Data Science Intern to gain hands-on experience working on projects assigned to the Data Science Team. The intern will leverage advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and assist in planning and executing analyses to address regulatory requirements and audit objectives. This role involves preparing internal reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decisions through statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization methods.
