About this role

The Database Designer Intern will join the Clinical Data Management team to gain hands-on experience in designing and maintaining clinical databases for clinical research. The role involves collaborating with experienced professionals to support the development of high-quality databases in accordance with study requirements and applicable standards. This internship provides an opportunity to learn about clinical data management processes and database design within a global Contract Research Organization (CRO).

Responsibilities

Design and develop clinical study databases based on protocols and data collection requirements
Create and maintain database structures, forms, fields, edit checks, and validation rules
Review study protocols, CRFs/eCRFs, and data specifications to understand database requirements
