About this role

This senior individual contributor role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of robust database systems to ensure data performance, integrity, and security within a major bank. As a subject matter expert in SQL Server, the candidate will create complex stored procedures, optimize queries, and implement ETL processes for the Risk or Marketing teams. The position requires deep expertise in data modeling and T-SQL to support mortgage and retail/commercial banking operations.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance scalable database solutions using SQL Server
Write and optimize complex stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions
Monitor and resolve database performance bottlenecks through advanced tuning
Implement logical and physical data models to meet business requirements
Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform data from various sources
