Delmarva Prescribed Fire Crew Member

The Delmarva Prescribed Fire Crew Member participates in the day-to-day activities of the Delmarva Prescribed Fire Crew, including prescribed fire activities, burn unit prep, fire operations, maintenance of equipment and supplies, mop up, and monitoring. The role involves participating in the restoration of fire-adapted landscapes, which may include timber stand improvement, vegetation management, fuels reduction, and monitoring. The position also includes assisting in general preserve stewardship activities such as preserve monitoring and maintenance, building and facilities maintenance, maintaining tools and equipment, and other tasks.
