Denials Specialist

The Denials Specialist role focuses on following up and collecting accounts receivable, including general payer collections and denial resolution. This position may also oversee patient call intake and performs various accounting, customer service, and organizational tasks to support the organization's financial health. The role requires working with payer portals, patient account systems, and Excel to resolve credit balances and outstanding claims. Additionally, the specialist monitors accounts for copays, deductibles, and coinsurance while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy policies.
