Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing licensed hygiene procedures, educating patients, and managing the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist. The role involves establishing and maintaining patient care relationships, verifying health histories, and performing clinical hygiene functions such as diagnostic x-rays, blood pressure recording, prophylaxis, and periodontal therapy. Additionally, the position requires determining needs for sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments.
