The Deputy Agency Procurement Officer (DAPO) leads day-to-day management and operations for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Office of Procurement, Contracts and Grants, providing direction and oversight to procurement, contract, and grant managers. The role supports agency procurement strategy and policy development, ensures compliance with state and federal procurement laws, and promotes customer service and accountability across the department. The position reports to the Agency Procurement Officer and helps shape internal operating procedures and departmental procurement practices.
