Deputy Business Unit Manager

The Deputy Business Unit Manager leads a team of approximately 15 colleagues, taking practical responsibility for safety, service, performance, and commercial results across Ellesmere Port and Birkenhead. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the role involves planning rotas, coordinating berth schedules, and overseeing daily site operations to ensure effective deployment of people, equipment, and resources. The position requires coaching the team, managing priorities, and collaborating with Engineering to support reliable operations while monitoring budgets and using KPIs to improve productivity.
