British Rowing is the national governing body for the sport of rowing in Great Britain. It oversees and supports clubs, athletes, coaches and volunteers—providing membership services, safety guidance, coach education, club development and a calendar of events and competitions. The organisation manages talent pathways from grassroots participation through to high-performance Olympic and Paralympic programmes, including athlete funding and elite performance support. Its mission is to grow and protect the sport while developing safe, inclusive opportunities and medal-capable athletes.
