Deputy Town Manager

The Town of Blacksburg is seeking an experienced local government professional to serve as its next Deputy Town Manager, part of the Town Manager’s Executive Leadership Team. The role involves assisting the Town Manager with the direction, control, and evaluation of Town operations, providing leadership to department directors, and playing a central role in preparing the annual operating budget and Capital Improvement Plan. The position also represents the Town with regional and intergovernmental organizations and serves as Acting Town Manager when designated.
