Derrick Hand

The Derrick Hand is part of a 4–5-person workover rig crew responsible for performing services on workover rigs, reporting to the Tool Pusher or Rig Operator. This role involves performing elevated work on the derrick, including accessing the tubing board and rod basket at heights of 50 feet or more, while adhering to strict safety procedures and using required fall protection. The position also includes completing routine maintenance on derrick structures and supporting other workover rig functions as directed.
