Derrickhand

The Derrickhand is responsible for managing mud systems, including measuring mud weight and viscosity, mixing chemicals, and maintaining equipment such as mud pumps, shakers, and tanks. This role involves working at heights on the derrick, guiding pipe during drilling activities, and overseeing Floorhands and Motorhands under the supervision of the Driller. The position requires working in a heavy industrial environment, adhering to strict safety protocols, and performing preventative maintenance on rig equipment.
