The Electrical Designer provides sustaining facilities electrical engineering design support for clients' site electrical distribution systems within the manufacturing technology sector. This role involves developing designs for power and lighting systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on new construction and renovation projects, while ensuring compliance with current NEC codes. The position requires expertise in creating electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and 3D models using industry-standard software for large capital projects.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical designs for manufacturing power distribution and lighting systems
Collaborate with architects and contractors on new construction and renovation projects
Design low and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems including MCCs and transformers
Review electrical design specifications and interpret drawings to ensure compliance
Create 3D models and design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software
