About this role

This role involves developing, releasing, and supporting engineering artifacts for the MK2 Crew Lander propulsion system, including designing and building portions of the fluids and propulsion systems. The position requires full ownership of CAD models and coordinating analysis and manufacturing development efforts through the complete life cycle of multiple systems. The engineer will work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure designs follow design for manufacturability and cost principles while mentoring entry-level engineers.

Responsibilities

Generate CAD models and model based designs for propulsion fluid system hardware
Lead design for manufacturability efforts and coordinate analysis and manufacturing development
Perform structural analysis and author engineering artifacts to support verification
