About this role

The Design Lead in the Municipal Roads & Highways group plays a pivotal role in advancing the growth of the Transportation Engineering practice in the Greater Toronto Region. This leadership position focuses on developing and executing technical delivery and business plans for regional and municipal clients, including the Ministry of Transportation Ontario. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of TAC Standards and various regional, municipal, and MTO standards, policies, and practices to deliver innovative solutions for transportation planning, design, and management.

Responsibilities

Lead design development and delivery of municipal roadway and transportation engineering projects
Manage multidisciplinary transportation projects including rehabilitation, widening, and expansion of roadways
Provide technical advice and conduct QA/QC design reviews for roadway projects

Skills

Qualifications

University degree in Civil/Transportation EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.)Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
