About this role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an energetic and experienced Design Manager to join the Design & Advanced Technology practice, focusing on delivering critical UK water infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, manage technical design deliverables from hydraulics to wastewater systems, and provide mentorship to grow engineering capabilities within the local team. The position involves collaborating with clients, internal teams, and contractors to drive transformational programs for major utilities like Thames Water and Anglian Water.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage a team of engineers for multi-disciplinary design delivery
Oversee the production and review of technical deliverables including drawings and calculations
Drive technical input into complex project designs while managing time and budgets
