A Detection and Response Analyst on Rapid7’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team investigates and triages high-priority security events across customer environments using Rapid7 tools and threat intelligence. The role focuses on identifying malicious activity, performing forensic and malware analysis, and producing incident reports aligned to the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Analysts work within a 24/7 SOC to support threat hunting, incident response, and detection improvement efforts.
