About this role

Samsung is seeking a highly experienced Device Engineer to join the cutting-edge 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) device engineering team. This individual-contributor role involves process-device co-optimization to enhance transistor performance, reliability, and yield. The engineer will collaborate with integration, process, and fab teams to deliver industry-leading device performance while solving complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform split lot design and DOE analysis to optimize device performance
Lead root cause analysis for device failures and drive corrective actions
Own parametric yield and Wafer Acceptance Electrical Test management
Conduct Local Layout Effects analysis to mitigate transistor variability
Lead Material to Hardware Correlation task forces for predictive process control
