About this role

The DevOps Engineer at Sphera builds, automates, and maintains secure, scalable software solutions across cloud and regulated environments. This role focuses on CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and operational tooling to support mission-critical workloads. The engineer collaborates closely with software engineers, Azure Platform Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Automate operational processes including provisioning, configuration management, and scaling
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities for application and infrastructure health
Embed security best practices into delivery pipelines including secrets management and vulnerability scanning

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fieldActive DoD security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one
