About this role

The DevSecOps Engineer at MeridianLink is responsible for safeguarding company and client data by assessing and enhancing the security of applications and infrastructure. This technical role involves collaborating with development, engineering, and product teams to implement security measures in the SDLC, conduct threat modeling, and automate security testing across CI/CD pipelines. The Engineer will perform vulnerability assessments, design and implement security solutions, and act as a liaison to ensure secure coding practices. Key skills include experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD integration, and familiarity with security testing tools and frameworks.

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent work experienceExperience with security, data pipelines, and CI/CDHands-on experience in designing, securing, and delivering cloud applications and solutions within AWS, Azure, and GCPExperience with threat modeling and understanding of application security vulnerabilities (SANS, OWASP Top 10)Experience with industry standard application and information security testing tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and WebInspect
