About this role

The Diabetes Educator is a licensed health care professional who provides diabetes education in outpatient settings and through community and professional education services. The role requires a minimum of three years of clinical experience, state licensure, and preferably certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. The position works a standard Monday‑Friday schedule, 8 am‑4:30 pm, with 40 weekly hours.

Provide diabetes education to outpatient and community patients
Develop and deliver lifestyle and weight management programs
Maintain certification and licensure requirements and ensure patient safety
