The Diagnostic Imaging Information Systems (DIIS) Coordinator supports the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging information systems, with a primary focus on the Emergency Department Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) pilot program. Serving as a liaison between clinical users, IT, vendors, and provincial partners, the role ensures imaging systems are reliable, integrated, and aligned with organizational standards. The position provides application expertise, technical coordination, and operational support to facilitate high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
