About this role
A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Sentara Independence performs diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures using independent judgment under the direction of a physician. The role is based in Virginia Beach, VA on a rotating shift supporting outpatient imaging services. Candidates are expected to have a degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or completion of an acceptable training program, and registration with ARRT or ARDMS is required for accredited sites; new graduates are welcome.
