About this role

Performs diagnostic quality radiologic imaging under the guidance of a registered technologist while maintaining proper radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities

Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
Produces images of diagnostic quality, processes, and prepares images for interpretation by the radiologist
Ensures appropriate exam is ordered for number of images provided and attached to the correct patient folder
Documents LMP, fluoro time, radiologist, number of images, appropriate history and all other required documentation
Ensures images have crossed into PACS before study is complete
