Diesel Engine Mechanic (HDM)

The Heavy‑Duty Mechanic (HDM) at CN is responsible for inspecting, repairing, overhauling, and servicing locomotives, including diagnosing diesel engine issues, performing welding and lubrication tasks, and testing equipment on shop tracks. The role works in a shop environment with irregular shifts, offers paid training, and requires a high school diploma or GED plus diesel mechanic experience or certification.
