Diesel Mechanic

The Diesel Mechanic maintains the City’s vehicles and equipment in good working condition under the direction of the Fleet Manager and Director of Public Works. This essential role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel, gasoline, and two-cycle engines, as well as performing major and minor repairs on air conditioning systems and heavy-duty truck transmissions. The position requires responding to service calls, maintaining a safe work environment, and being available for emergency situations and after-hours call-outs.
