About Sparkmicrogrants

sparkmicrogrants.org

Spark Microgrants is an international nonprofit that helps rural and marginalized communities design and implement locally led development projects by combining small, catalytic grants with trained facilitators. They partner with village groups to guide collective decision‑making, leadership development, and project implementation—supporting locally prioritized goals in areas like health, education, livelihoods, and infrastructure. Spark emphasizes local ownership, monitoring, and capacity building to create durable social change through a low‑cost, replicable model. Donors and partners value their track record of enabling communities to solve problems themselves and scale community-driven solutions.
