The Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA) is the professional association representing veterinarians across Louisiana, advancing animal health and supporting veterinary practice. LVMA provides members with continuing education, practice-management resources, networking and events, and legislative advocacy on regulatory and public-health issues. The organization also publishes guidance and resources for both veterinarians and the public and works with regulators and lawmakers to promote animal welfare and the veterinary profession statewide.
