About this role

BAYADA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Candidates will assist clients with daily living activities, community transportation, and personal care, fostering independence and confidence. This role offers flexible part-time schedules and competitive hourly compensation in Buncombe, McDowell, Asheville, Candler, Black Mountain, and Leicester areas.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Assist clients with daily personal care needs including dressing and grooming
Transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and community events
Encourage independence and help clients achieve personal goals
Engage clients in community activities and social interactions
